Thick and dark homemade onion chutney.

Ingredients

  • 8 Onions (sliced)
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Star Anise
  • 200g Brown Sugar
  • 300ml Red Wine Vinegar

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and cook over a medium heat and simmer for 30mins until the chutney is thick and dark.
  2. Either serve, or store for later!
